An Artist by Nature

This is an image journal of artistic places I have traveled to, places I have dwelt in for awhile and places I will always come back to. All my work is an expression of the joy and the beauty I see all around me. These expressions manifest in many forms, painting, drawing, photography, writing, fiber arts, landscaping & many other forms of art & design, especially in wood.
While my main inspiration has always been the natural world, it also wanders into the world childhood wonder and the sense of awe that I found then and still find now.

  1. I have followed you for a very long time and didn't know until today you paint. You are an amzing artist and an inspiration. Thanks for sharing your art. Wish I could paint as well as you : ) My problem is I never stay focused long enough to get good at any one thing but I do share your love for nature and art. Beautiful rendering of your pooch and Noah.

  2. Greetings Annabelle~ I hope that you may still get this response even though it is over a year since you posted it. Most people go to the Willodel.com site as those creations are what I am known for and even though people do intermittently look at this blog, it is not often ~and they do not comment (or at least I do not find the comments!) So I was checking messages for Willodel comments tonight and decided to look here as well, not the first time of course, but there you were ! I really appreciate you leaving your thoughts and comment and thank you so much for them. My painting is something that was always waiting in the background..while all my time and energy went into my Willodel business. Eventually I had to slow that business down related to some health reasons and decided it was time for me to start oil painting and do more art..so I finally did it. I have been taking a break from it for the last several months, but will get back soon. I peaked at your site and also loved what I saw~ indeed my greatest gift being online is finding so many wonderful kindred spirits all around the globe and always feeling at a spiritual level we are all one and all related !
take care and thank you again~ Lucinda
